Jaco van Loggerenberg - Director
After successfully completing a degree in hospitality management, Jaco realised his true passion, while working at The Hilton Hotel Sandton…food and beverage management. This passion lead to various food and beverage related positions in the hospitality industry, before Jaco decided to join The Aleit Group, in 2008. Taking over Shake and Serve was a very natural choice. “Having the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people, enjoying the social company associated with this industry and being more flexible in your work, makes this the perfect career.
The Aleit Academy - Apprentice
At Shake and Serve we have some young, energetic students on board who are here to gain invaluable experience as part of their qualification at The Aleit Academy. They cover all aspects of the hospitality industry, including Event Management & Planning, Hospitality Management and Professional Culinary training.
The Aleit Academy is in association with The Institute of Culinary Arts (ICA), South Africa’s leading training school for world-class chefs which is internationally recognised for producing industry-ready professionals of the highest calibre. Shake and Serve’s Bar and Staff Manager, Bruce, is always eager to work with these young minds during the completion of their practical hours, as they share in his educational values and learn how to shake and to serve.
